When the relationship became official, I first went up to Jen’s parents. They were not surprised to see me though since I was a constant bwisitor =P . They saw me all the time.
My family welcomed Jen warmly. But they too weren’t surprised since they already knew about Jen.
Who was surprised? It's us! Because for some reason, Jen’s mom and my mom used to be passengers in the same car pool. My father and Jen’s father also have common friends. So somehow, news among peers travelled faster than us actually telling it.
Our officemates, classmates, and friends...they were all there to support us!
We went to different places, ate a variety of food, and did things we had never done before.
After all the happiness and after all the challenges, we remained strong. And most of all, we learned to accept each other for who we are. And whatever happened in those 2 years or so, they all led to where we are leading to!
